Abstract
Indonesia is a region prone to natural disasters, and one of them is floods. Monitoring the water level in rivers is crucial for flood prevention. One commonly used sensor for measuring water level is the ultrasonic sensor. River water level monitoring device was designed to be based on the Internet of Things and with SMS notification. The implementation of the device was conducted at a river flow point in Tegal Cabe Village. The results of the river water level monitoring from June 25th to June 28th 2023, showed that the water level remained low and there were no indications of potential flood disasters. The average water level ranged from 0,54-0,56 meters.

Additional Information: | Indonesia merupakan wilayah yang rawan terhadap bencana alam, salah satunya adalah banjir. Pemantauan ketinggian air di sungai penting dalam pencegahan banjir. Sensor yang sering digunakan untuk mengukur ketinggian air adalah sensor ultrasonik. Alat pemantau ketinggian air sungai dirancang dengan berbasis Internet of Things dan dengan notifikasi SMS. Implementasi alat dilakukan di titik aliran sungai di Desa Tegal Cabe. Hasil pemantauan ketinggian air sungai dari tanggal 25 Juni sampai 28 Juni 2023, tercatat rendah dan tidak ada indikasi adanya potensi bencana banjir. Rata-rata ketinggian air berkisar antara 0,54-0,56 meter. | |||||||||
