Abstract

STABILITY ANALYSIS OF CANTILEVER RETAINING WALL”IN CASETOLL GATEDEVELOPMENTPROJECT AND TRANSACTION LANE OF SERANG TIMURTOLL GATE ” Istiyani Dwi Saputri ABSTRACT The existence of Toll Gate Development and Transaction lane of SerangTimur has increased in terms of supporting facilities such as additional lanestransactionsand widening of the highwayalong the lines of Tangerang-Merak.Widening the highwaycannotseparated from the retaining wall construction, toavoid landslide on the road. Stability analysis of the Cantilever Retaining Wall’s manually calculatedby the method of Rankine and Coloumb and use Plaxisv.8.2software, these threemethods calculated safety factor of stability cantilever retaining walls aboutoverturning, sliding and bearing capacity failure. The results of calculations on the stability of the Cantilever RetainingWall’s using the Rankine methods the safety factor that an obtained foroverturning, sliding and bearing capacity failure respectivelyare 6.385, 3.842,3.795for type 1 and4.809, 3.502, 4.309for type2, while byColoumbmethodswe gotforoverturning, sliding and bearing capacity failurerespectively are3.763,4.456, 5.932 for type 1 and 2.476, 3.512, 5.602 for type 2 ( not influencedearthquake load ) and2.213, 3.282, 4.868 for type 1 and1.860, 3.024, 5.297 fortype 2 ( influencedearthquake loads ). The results ofanalysis using Plaxisv.8.2software,safety factor of landslide is2.152 for type 1 and5.00 for type2.Theresults showed that the structure of Cantilever Retaining Wall’s is able towithstandfromthe forces thatoccur.
