Abstract
The main catch reached 22% and the bycatch reached 78%. By-catch is divided into two, namely by-catch that is thrown back (discarded) and not thrown away or still has economic value (useable). By-catch that is thrown back (discarded) reaches 8% and by-catch that has economic value (useable) reaches 70%. The composition of the bottom gillnet consisted of the main catch, namely blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) of 72.592 kg (26%), and by-catch of 202.973 kg (74%). Types of by-catch are dominated by high economic value of fish of 183.569 kg (67%), and low economic value of 19.404 kg (7%). The average fishing productivity for blue swimming crab is 9.18 kg per trip.

| Additional Information: | Hasil tangkapan utama mencapai 22% dan hasil tangkapan sampingan (bycatch) mencapai 78%. Hasil tangkapan sampingan terbagi menjadi dua yaitu hasil tangkapan sampingan yang dibuang kembali (discard) dan tidak dibuang atau masih memiliki nilai ekonomis (useable). Hasil tangkapan sampingan yang dibuang kembali (discard) mencapai 8% dan hasil tangkapan sampingan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis (useable) mencapai 70%. Komposisi hasil tangkapan jaring rajungan di Teluk Banten terdiri atas hasil tangkapan utama yaitu rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) sebanyak 72.592 kg (26%), dan hasil tangkapan sampingan sebesar 202,973 kg (74%). Jenis hasil tangkapan sampingan didominasi oleh jenis ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis sebanyak 183,569 kg (67%), jenis tangkapan yangtidak memiliki nilai ekonomis sebanyak 19,404 kg (7%). Produktivitas penangkapan kapal jaring rajungan di Teluk Banten memiliki rata-rata 9,18 kg per trip. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sebaiknya dilakukan menggunakan mesize yang selective guna mengurangi banyaknya hasil tangkapan sampingan (bycatch). Selain itu pemilihan musim yang tepat untuk penelitian sehingga memaksimalkan hasil tangkapan utama. | |||||||||
