Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the comparison of number head together learning model and problem based learning towards the students learning result in motion system material. The method that be used is comparative and the desain that be used is one sample pretest posttest. The population in this research are student of XI Science SMAN 30 Kabupaten Tangerang in 2022/2023 school year and the sample that be used are two clasess, XI IPA 2 as the first experiment class and XI IPA 3 as the second experiment class. Sampling technique that be researcher used is purposive sampling. Data collection technique is objective and multiple choice. The result of learning show average score of students cognitive in first experiment class is 84, very high category, but in second class is 75, high category. Data analysis technique use t-test to hyphotesis test. The result of hyphotesis test is the comparison learning model of number head together and problem based learning towards student learning result that used t-test is significant a=0,05 is gotten score 0,009. According the result can be concluded that number head together model more effective than problem based learning model towards the students learning result in motion system material

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbandingan model pembelajaran number head together dan problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak. Metode yang digunakan berupa komparatif dan desain yang digunakan yaitu one sample pretest posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 30 Kab Tangerang tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dan sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang peneliti gunakan yaitu dengan purposive sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda. Hasil pembelajaran menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu 84 dengan kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen 2 menghasilkan nilai sebesar 75 dengan kategori tinggi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t (t-test) untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis perbandingan model pembelajaran number head together dan problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikasi α = 0,05 diperoleh nilai 0,009. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model number head together terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak.
