Abstract
The challenge of agricultural extension activities in the era of information and communication technology (ICT) is the ability to utilize internet-based media and social media networks. Internet media makes the flow of information move very quickly in all aspects of life. The strong exposure to existing information means that agricultural instructors must have skills in information literacy, so that the information conveyed to farmers is valid information. This research was designed as descriptive survey research using a quantitative approach, aiming to determine exposure to information, the level of information literacy and the influence of information literacy of agricultural instructors in Serang Regency. The respondents in this study were 41 agricultural extension workers with purposive sampling, performance assessment was carried out by 2 assisted farmers. The data obtained was analyzed using path analysis. The research results show that exposure to information media is still relatively low, especially in terms of frequency and duration of internet use, information literacy of agricultural instructors is classified as poor, especially at the stage of ability to select, organize, create new information, assess outputs and apply input. Meanwhile, the ability to identify, explore and present is considered good. Digital information has an indirect effect on the performance of agricultural instructors with information literacy as an intervening variable only accepted for the duration factor (minutes).

| Additional Information: | Tantangan kegiatan penyuluhan pertanian di era teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) adalah kemampuan memanfaatkan media berbasis internet dan jaringan sosial media. Media internet membuat perpindahan arus informasi begitu cepat di semua aspek kehidupan. Kuatnya terpaan informasi yang ada, membuat penyuluh pertanian harus mempunyai kecakapan dalam literasi informasi, supaya informasi yang disampaikan kepada petani merupakan informasi yang valid. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian survei yang bersifat deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, bertujuan untuk mengetahui terpaan informasi, tingkat literasi informasi dan pengaruh literasi informasi penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Serang. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 41 orang penyuluh pertanian dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive, untuk penilaian kinerja dilakukan oleh 2 petani binaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terpaan media informasi masih tergolong rendah terutama dari hal frekuensi dan durasi penggunaan internet, literasi informasi penyuluh pertanian tergolong kurang baik terutama pada tahapan kemampuan menyeleksi, mengorganisasi, menciptakan informasi baru, menilai luaran dan menerapkan masukan. Sedangkan untuk kemampuan mengidentifikasi, mengeksplorasi, dan mempresentasikan dinilai baik. Informasi digital berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian dengan literasi informasi sebagai variabel intervening hanya diterima untuk faktor durasi (menit). | |||||||||
