Abstract

Fish sorting is necessary in catfish cultivation to standardize the size of the fish and prevent cannibalism among individual fish. This research designs a catfish sorting system based on the fish's weight, utilizing the Arduino Mega 2560 device, a loadcell weight sensor, and MG996R servo motor. The system is designed to sort the fish into 3 size groups with a weight range between 70 to 150 grams. The percentage of error in size standardization using live catfish is 4.55%, which is caused by the fish's movement.

Additional Information: Penyortiran ikan diperlukan dalam budidaya ikan lele yang berguna untuk menyeragamkan ukuran ikan serta mencegah terjadinya kanibalisme antar individu ikan. Penelitian ini merancang sistem alat sortir ikan lele berdasarkan berat ikan dengan memanfaatkan perangkat Arduino Mega 2560, sensor berat loadcell, dan motor servo MG996R. Sistem dirancang menjadi 3 kelompok ukuran dengan jangkauan berat antara 70 sampai dengan 150 gram. Persentase kesalahan dalam penyeragaman ukuran dengan menggunakan ikan lele hidup sebesar 4,55% yang disebabkan oleh pergerakan ikan.
