Abstract

The electric bicycle facility on the Sindangsari Untirta campus is equipped with a bicycle battery charging shelter with a source of electricity obtained from sunlight making it more environmentally friendly. The drawback of this facility is that the position of bicycles cannot be fully monitored so that users have to wait and cannot find the nearest bicycle location. The purpose of this research is to produce a tool that is able to track the position of a bicycle with a GPS module that can be displayed in the form of a map on the Google Maps application. Testing the GPS system is carried out by testing the coordinates of each building, GPS Delay Testing, GPS Tracking Testing and GPS Notifications leaving the campus zone. From this research, it can be seen that the average delay time indoors is 5,53 seconds with an average signal strength value indoors of -30,42 dBm and an average value of delay time outdoors is 29,07 seconds with an average strength value. signal outdoors is – 77,38 dBm. And it can also be seen the location of the position of the bicycle in each building with an average value of the difference between the distance between the tool and the comparison of 0,293 meters.

Additional Information: Fasilitas sepeda listrik yang terdapat dalam kampus Untirta Sindangsari sudah dilengkapi dengan shelter pengisian baterai sepeda dengan sumber listrik yang diperoleh dari sinar matahari sehingga lebih ramah lingkungan. Kekurangan dalam fasilitas tersebut yaitu posisi sepeda yang tidak dapat terpantau secara penuh sehingga pengguna harus menunggu dan tidak dapat mencari lokasi sepeda terdekat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu Menghasilkan alat yang mampu melacak letak posisi sepeda dengan modul GPS yang dapat ditampilkan dalam bentuk peta pada aplikasi google maps. Pengujian sistem GPS dilakukan dengan melakukan pengujian titik koordinat setiap gedung, pengujian delay GPS, pengujian tracking GPS dan notifikasi GPS keluar zona kampus. Penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata waktu delay di dalam ruangan sebesar 5,53 detik dengan nilai rata-rata kekuatan sinyal di dalam ruangan sebesar – 30,42 dBm dan nilai rata-rata waktu delay di luar ruangan sebesar 29,07 detik dengan nilai rata-rata kekuatan sinyal di luar ruangan sebesar – 77,38 dBm dan dapat diketahui juga letak posisi sepeda pada setiap gedung dengan nilai rata-rata selisih jarak alat dengan pembanding sebesar 0,293 meter.
