Abstract

Energy reserves in Indonesia, especially fossil energy, are decreasing day by day. Apart from that, another problem is the problem of waste which is increasing day by day, causing environmental problems such as air pollution. Therefore, the use of organic waste (biomass), especially rice husk waste, into graphene oxide nanomaterial which is synthesized using the hummers method and used as a substitute for used battery content material, is an alternative solution to replace fossil energy into environmentally friendly renewable energy. There are three samples with varying sizes of 100 mesh, 400 mesh and 500 mesh. The Raman test results show that the ID/IG ratio ratio of the 400 mesh graphene oxide sample is 0.82. The UV-Vis test results showed that the third sample in a row had a wave peak of 222.63 nm; 254.32nm; and 256.64 nm, while the results of bandgap value calculations using the Tauc Plot method were respectively 3.73 eV; 4.42 eV; and 4.59 eV. The XRD test results show the 2θ angle between 24° and 43º. The SEM test results show a morphology with a shape like a thin curtain and an average particle size distribution of ± 2239 µm2. The VNA test results show that the absorption percentage of the 400 mesh and 500 mesh samples is 10.25% and 7.25%. The test results for the battery voltage filled with graphene oxide for the three samples were 1.284 V; 1.148V; and 1.132 V.

Additional Information: Cadangan energi di Indonesia terutama energi fosil semakin hari semakin berkurang. Disamping itu, masalah lainnya adalah masalah limbah yang semakin hari bertambah banyak sehingga menimbulkan masalah lingkungan seperti polusi udara. Maka, pemanfaatan limbah organik (biomassa), terutama limbah sekam padi menjadi nanomaterial grafena oksida yang disintesis dengan metode hummers dan digunakan sebagai pengganti material isi baterai bekas merupakan alternatif solusi untuk menggantikan energi fosil menjadi energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan. Terdapat tiga sampel dengan variasi ukuran 100 mesh, 400 mesh, dan 500 mesh. Hasil uji Raman menunjukkan nilai rasio perbandingan ID/IG Sampel Grafena Oksida ukuran 400 mesh adalah 0,82. Hasil uji UV-Vis menunjukkan ketiga sampel berturut-turut memiliki puncak gelombang 222,63 nm; 254,32 nm; dan 256,64 nm sedangkan hasil perhitungan nilai bandgap menggunakan metode Tauc Plot berturut-turut 3,73 eV; 4,42 eV; dan 4,59 eV. Hasil uji XRD menunjukkan sudut 2θ antara 24° sampai 43º. Hasil uji SEM memperlihatkan morfologi dengan bentuk seperti helaian tirai tipis dan distribusi ukuran rata-rata partikel ± 2239 µm2. Hasil uji VNA menunjukkan persentase absorbsi sampel 400 mesh dan 500 mesh sebesar 10,25% dan 7,25%. Hasil uji tegangan listrik baterai yang diisi grafena oksida ketiga sampel berturut-turut 1,284 V; 1,148 V; dan 1,132 V.
