Abstract

ABSTRACT Nur Wahid Wijayanto, Analysis Of Quality Control Cavendish Banana C3 13 Kg At PT. Sewu Segar Nusantara. In direction by Hj. Andjar Astuti and Hj. Sri Mulyati. PT Sewu Segar Nusantara is a company engaged in agribusiness with the main product is cavendish bananas. In this activities, the company has always effort to produce a good product and reduce damage to the products with standard damage tolerance at 5% of total production. However, the fact on the field indicates the fluctuating levels of damage and even still there is damage over the tolerances specified standards. This research purposed to analyze did application of the product quality control system on PT Sewu Segar Nusantara are controled or uncontroled, and searched the causes of damage to company's products. In this research, methods of analysis used are the histogram, Pareto diagrams, control charts, and fishbone diagrams. These methods are used to identify the type of product damage happens, quantified as far as the quality control process is done, and to find the cause of the damage. The results of this research indicate that the product quality control on PT Sewu Segar Nusantara there are uncontrolled, with an average of damage products per month is 66.38%. This type of damage is the most freqeuntly is New Bruisses with the percentage of 45.81% in the period January - June 2014. From the results of field observations and interviews, the factors that cause this damage is the human factors / workers, machines, work methods, materials and the environment employment.
