Abstract

The role of the teacher in developing the discipline of children aged 4-5 years at Kasih Bunda Baros Kindergarten has a good role for children, which aims to find out how the teacher's role is in developing the discipline of children aged 4-5 years at Kasih Bunda Baros Kindergarten, knowing how to develop character discipline of children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten of Kasih Bunda Baros, and knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in developing the discipline of children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten of Kasih Bunda Baros. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were children aged 4-5 years. Data collection techniques through observation, field notes, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Validation was carried out by extending participation, observation persistence, triangulation, member checks, negative case analysis, and referential adequacy. The results of the data analysis stated that: 1) the role of the teacher as a guide in developing the discipline of children aged 4-5 years at Kasih Bunda Baros Kindergarten has been going well; 2) the role of the teacher as a trainer in developing children aged 4-5 years at Kasih Bunda Baros Kindergarten has been going well; 3) supporting and inhibiting factors, the supporting factors are a) class teachers who always apply disciplinary habits; b) facilities and infrastructure that support activities. The inhibiting factor is the child's unfavorable emotions or mood. Keywords: Teacher's Role, Developing Child Discipline

Additional Information: Peran guru dalam mengembangkan kedisiplin anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Baros ini memiliki peran yang baik bagi anak, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran guru dalam mengembangkan kedisiplinan anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Baros, mengetahui cara mengembangkan karakter disiplin anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Baros, serta mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam mengembangkan kedisiplin anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Baros. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Validasi dilakukan dengan cara perpanjang keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, member check, analisis kasus negatif, dan kecukupan referensial. Hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa: 1) peran guru sebagai pembimbing dalam mengembangkan kedisiplinan anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Baros sudah berjalan dengan baik; 2) peran guru sebagai pelatih dalam megembangkan anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Baros sudah berjalan dengan baik; 3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat, faktor pendukung yaitu a) guru kelas yang selalu menerapkan pembiasaan disiplin; b) sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang kegiatan. Faktor penghambat yaitu emosi atau suasana hati anak yang kurang baik. Kata Kunci : Peran Guru,Mengembangkan Kedisiplinan Anak
