Abstract
Implementation of promotions through social media in the Radar Banten Daily Newspaper is a means to expand reach in obtaining information. The Radar Banten daily newspaper still uses print media, this is less effective in expanding readers and enthusiasts, so for this it is necessary to have a means of promotion. The purpose of preparing this Final Project is to find out the Application of Promotion through Social Media at SKH Radar Banten. The writing method used is descriptive method. The types of data in this Final Project are primary data and secondary data obtained by collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of writing this Final Project show that the application of promotion through social media at SKH Radar Banten is still not effective because Radar Banten is lacking in utilizing the features that exist in the development of social media but promotional media also helps to increase the information presented and attracts readers through content on Radar Banten social media. Although the promotions carried out through social media Instagram, Facebook and Twitter have not been used optimally. The lack of admin knowledge is also an obstacle, so that in the future you can increase knowledge, manage time and take advantage of features for better interactions.

Additional Information: | Penerapan Promosi melalui media sosial pada Surat Kabar Harian Radar Banten merupakan sarana untuk memperluas jangkauan dalam memperoleh informasi. Surat kabar harian Radar Banten masih menggunakan media cetak hal ini kurang efektif dalam memperluas pembaca dan peminatnya maka untuk itu perlu adanya sarana promosi. Tujuan penyusunan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui Penerapan Promosi melalui Media Sosial pada SKH Radar Banten. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Jenis data dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penulisan Tugas Akhir ini menunjukkan penerapan promosi melalui media sosial pada SKH Radar Banten masih kurang efektif sebab Radar Banten kurang dalam memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang ada pada perkembangan media sosial tetapi media promosi juga membantu untuk menaikan informasi yang disajikan dan memberikan daya tarik bagi pembaca melalui konten yang ada di media sosial Radar Banten. Meskipun promosi yang dilakukan melalui media sosial Instagram, Facebook dan Twitter belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Kurangnya pengetahuan admin juga menjadi hambatan, sehingga kedepannya bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan, mengatur waktu dan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur untuk interaksi yang lebih baik | |||||||||
