Abstract
Chemistry learning activities carried out by teachers are still conventional, so students lack interest in learning chemistry and experience difficulties in learning chemistry which results in low student learning outcomes. One of the most difficult chemical materials is the buffer solution material. In addition to textbooks, the learning media that is often used by teachers in learning activities is LKPD, but the LKPD that is often used is LKPD published by publishers and the use of LKPD in learning activities is not maximized. Therefore, this study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of POE-based Student Worksheets (LKPD).Predict-Observe-Explain) on the Topic of Buffer Solutions. The method used in this research isResearch and Development with the ADDIE model according to Branch. Based on the validation results of media experts who were analyzed with Aiken's validity test, it obtained an average result of 0.97 in the "valid" category. Based on the results of the validation of material experts who were analyzed with Aiken's validity test, it obtained an average result of 0.96 in the "valid" category. POE Based Student Worksheets (LKPD)Predict-Observe-Explain) on the Buffer Solution Topic that was developed in a limited trial with 14 students in class XI IPA Al-Qudwah Integrated High School and received student responses, namely 86% very good and 14% good. So it can be concluded that Student Worksheets (LKPD) Based on POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) on the Buffer Solution Topic that was developed was stated to be valid and could be used in teaching buffer solutions.

Additional Information: | Kegiatan pembelajaran kimia yang dilakukan oleh guru masih bersifat konvensional, sehingga peserta didik kurang minat belajar kimia dan mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran kimia yang berakibat pada hasil belajar peserta didik yang rendah. Salah satu materi kimia yang sulit yaitu materi larutan penyangga. Selain buku paket, media pembelajaran yang sering digunakan oleh guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah LKPD, namun LKPD yang sering digunakan adalah LKPD yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit dan penggunaan LKPD dalam kegiatan pembelajaran belum maksimal. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) pada Topik Larutan Penyangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan model ADDIE menurut Branch. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media yang dianalisis dengan uji validitas Aiken’s memperoleh hasil rata-rata 0,97 dengan kategori “valid”. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) pada Topik Larutan Penyangga yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran larutan penyangga. | |||||||||
