Abstract
Clearing is an interbank debt settlement service by handing over documents to each other that will be cleared at a clearing house. The clearing system aims to simplify and expedite payment traffic. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of the clearing system, the obstacles in the implementation of clearing,and efforts to minimize clearing obstacles at PT. Regional Development Bank West Java and Banten, Tbk. Palima sub-branch office. The study method used is descriptive method. To collect data, library research and field work practices are used which include interviews and direct observation. Based on the results of the study, there are eleven processes that are carried out in the debit clearing and credit clearing mechanisms at PT. Regional Development Bank West Java and Banten, Tbk. Palima Sub-branch Office.

| Additional Information: | Kliring adalah jasa penyelesaian utang piutang antar bank dengan cara saling menyerahkan warkat-warkat yang akan dikliringkan di lembaga kliring. Sistem kliring bertujuan untuk mempermudah dan memperlancar lalulintas pembayaran. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan sistem kliring, alasan munculnya kendala-kendala dalam pelaksanaan kliring, serta upaya untuk meminimalisir kendala kliring pada PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten, Tbk. Kantor Cabang Pembantu Palima. Metode studi yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, untuk pengumpulan data digunakan studi kepustakaan dan praktik kerja lapangan yang mencakup wawancara dan observasi langsung. Berdasarkan hasil studi, ada tujuh proses yang dijalankan dalam mekanisme kliring pada PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten, Tbk. Kantor Cabang Pembantu Palima. | |||||||||
