Abstract
This research designs a waste management system using IoT technology and load cells to monitor the amount of waste in the trash bin in real-time. The waste monitoring system utilizes an internet connection connected to an IoT-Web platform, which can be accessed within a range of 10 to 100 meters using a local network. The calibration results of the load cell sensor, which measures the weight, are considered good and suitable as they obtain a value of 0.00006%. The servo motor module works according to the commands given, automatically locking the trash bin lid when the weight reaches 4.99 kg.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini merancang sistem pengelolaan sampah dengan menggunakan teknologi IoT dan load cell untuk memantau banyaknya sampah yang berada ditempat sampah tersebut secara realtime. Sistem monitoring sampah ini memanfaatkan koneksi internet yang terhubung dengan Platform IOT-Web, dimana dengan memanfaatkan jaringan lokal mampu terhubung pada jarak 10 meter hingga 100 meter. Hasil kalibrasi sensor load cell sebagai pembaca beratnya dikatakan baik dan layak karena mendapatkan nilai sebesar 0,00006 %. Adapun modul motor servo yang bekerja sesuai dengan perintah, dimana secara otomatis akan mengunci tutup tempat sampah ketika berat telah mencapai 4,99 kg. | |||||||||
