Abstract
There are various kinds of damage to photovoltaic cells that cause a decrease in quality, one of which is a crack in the photovoltaic cell. Invisible photovoltaic cell cracks can be seen using the electroluminescence method, by entering power according to the photovoltaic cell specifications in a forward bias manner and captured by a modified DSLR camera by removing the IR cutfilter on the camera. Determining the type of crack using image processing with the YOLO v3 algorithm. The detection accuracy results obtained are 97,30% photovoltaic cell, 92,22% micro crack, 70,77% several direction crack, and 93,66% cross crack. The results of the output comparison on the photovoltaic cell get a reduction in Voc of 9% to18.4%, and Isc of 23.45% to 29.8%.
