Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to : (1) know procurement raw materials that was held by CV. Gaya Baru in Neglasari Sub-District. (2) Analyze controlling raw materials stock based on EOQ method at CV. Gaya Baru in Neglasari Sub-District. (3) Analyze total of safety stock and reorder time at CV. Gaya Baru in Neglasari Sub-District. The research method that used in this research was case method. The purpose of case study was for give details explanation about background, features, and unique characters from case. Research location was decided purposive at CV. Gaya Baru that locate at Jalan Sewan Lebak Wangi No. 5 Mekarsari Village Neglasari Sub-District Tangerang Regency. CV. Gaya Baru is the only one factory that produce nata de coco beverage package with low end company scale. The result of the study are : (1) System of procurement raw materials that was held by CV. Gaya Baru for one year in period Mei 2013 – April 2014, order frequency was 96 times and average order quantity was 6.300kg. The order cost was Rp 3.408.000,- and save cost was Rp 5.720.000,-, so the total cost was Rp 9.128.000,-. (2) The controlling of raw materials stock based on EOQ method, the order frequency was 35 times and average order quantity was 14.797,31 kg. The order cost was Rp 1.250.594,87,- and save cost was Rp 1.250.594,65,-, so the total cost was Rp 2.501.189,52,-. (3) Safety stock was 5.611kg and reorder of raw materials was 7.421 kg nata de coco.
