Abstract
This research is motivated by the existence of problems that occur in schools. The problem and potential in question is that technology which is growing rapidly cannot be utilized optimally for the use of learning media. Therefore it is necessary to develop technology-based or digital learning media, so that Digital Comics media is made. This study aims to develop Canva-based digital comic media for thematic learning in elementary schools, to determine the feasibility of learning media made as a learning support tool for students, and to find out students' responses regarding the media being developed. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research methodology, with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model development procedure. The results of the research conducted show that the feasibility of digital comic media is based on the assessment of media experts, material experts, and teacher assessments. Assessments from media experts obtained an average score of 87%, assessments by material experts obtained an average score of 91%, assessments by teachers obtained a score of 93.3%. Then students gave positive responses to the media tested in the learning process with a score of 96%. The product validation instrument from these experts was obtained by using a questionnaire that had been made and based on the assessment of the instrument experts. So it can be concluded that this research produces canva-based digital comic media products for thematic learning in grade IV elementary school. The percentage of eligibility results of media experts is in the "Very Eligible" category, Material experts are in the "Very Eligible" category, and teacher response assessments are in the "Highly Eligible" category. The percentage of students' response assessments is included in the "Very Good" category. So that the product is said to be suitable for use as a medium in the learning process in elementary schools.
