Abstract

Flooding in Jakarta is a common problem especially during the rainy season. West Tomang Polder System is one of the flood control efforts in West Jakarta with 11 drainage networks, polder ponds, 4 flood control pumps with a capacity of 1.74 m3/s and 4 pumps with a capacity of 1 m3/s. This research aims to obtain the 50 and 100 year return period inflow discharge of the polder pond and to determine the pump operation pattern when flooding occurs in the West Tomang Polder System. Data analysis starts from the calculation of rainfall area using isohyet method, frequency analysis of rainfall data, design flood discharge using TR-55 modeling and analysis of pump operation pattern based on the inflow discharge of polder pond. The results showed that the 50 and 100 year return period inflow discharge was 46.35 m3/s and 51.55 m3/s. The pump operation pattern starts when the pool water level rises 1 meter, then 1 pump with a capacity of 1.74 m3/s is turned on, when the elevation rises 1.5 meters 2 pumps are turned on, when the elevation rises 2.5 meters 3 pumps are turned on, when the elevation rises 3 meters 4 pumps are turned on, when the elevation continues to rise to 4 meters then 4 pumps and 1 additional pump with a capacity of 1 m3/s are turned on, the use of 1 additional pump continues if the water level rises every 0.5 meters.

Additional Information: Banjir yang terjadi di Kota Jakarta merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi terutama ketika musim penghujan. Sistem Polder Tomang Barat merupakan salah satu upaya pengendalian banjir di Jakarta Barat dengan 11 jaringan drainase, kolam polder, 4 pompa pengendali banjir berkapasitas 1,74 m3/s dan 4 pompa berkapasitas 1 m3/s. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan debit inflow kolam polder kala ulang 50 dan 100 tahun serta mengetahui pola operasi pompa ketika terjadi banjir pada Sistem Polder Tomang Barat. Tahapan analisis data dimulai dari perhitungan hujan kawasan metode isohyet, analisis frekuensi data hujan, pemodelan menggunakan TR-55 dan analisis pola operasi pompa berdasarkan debit inflow kolam polder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan debit inflow kala ulang 50 dan 100 tahun sebesar 46,35 m3/s dan 51,55 m3/s. Pola operasi pompa dimulai ketika elevasi muka air kolam naik 1 meter, maka 1 pompa berkapasitas 1,74 m3/s dinyalakan, ketika elevasi naik 1,5 meter 2 pompa dinyalakan, ketika elevasi naik 2,5 meter 3 pompa dinyalakan, ketika elevasi naik 3 meter 4 pompa dinyalakan, ketika elevasi terus naik hingga 4 meter maka 4 pompa dan 1 pompa tambahan berkapasitas 1 m3/s dinyalakan, penggunaan 1 pompa tambahan terus dilakukan jika elevasi muka air naik setiap 0,5 meter sampai 8 pompa dinyalakan.
