Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the use of whatsapp social media-based learning media and learning styles with science learning outcomes for class VI students at SDN Cisaat, Padarincang District, Serang Regency. The method used is a correlational method with a quantitative approach, collecting data by distributing questionnaires to class VI students at SDN Cisaat. The sample in this study were 30 grade VI students at SDN Cisaat. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that: (1) there is a positive relationship between the use of WhatsApp social media-based learning media and science learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the value of rcount > rtable (0.839 > 0.3610). This shows that the more appropriate the use of learning media, the higher the learning outcomes, and vice versa, the more inappropriate the use of learning media, the lower learning outcomes will be. (2) There is a positive relationship between learning styles and science learning outcomes, this is proven by the results of rcount > rtable (0.394 > 0.3610). This shows that the more appropriate the learning method is with the learning style, the higher the science learning outcomes, and vice versa, the more inappropriate the learning method is with the learning style, the lower the learning outcomes will be. (3) There is a positive relationship between the use of learning media and learning styles together with science learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the sig. F Change < α value (0.000 < 0.05). This shows that the more appropriate the use of instructional media and the more suitable the learning method is with the learning style, the higher the learning outcomes. And vice versa, the more inappropriate the use of learning media and the more inappropriate the way of learning is with the learning style, the lower the learning outcomes will be.

Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data dengan teknik penyebaran angket kepada siswa kelas VI SDN Cisaat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas VI SDN Cisaat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis media sosial whatsapp dengan hasil belajar IPA, hal ini terbukti dengan besarnya nilai rhitung > rtabel (0.839 > 0.3610). Hal tersebut menunjukkan semakin tepat pemanfaatan media pembelajaran maka akan semakin tinggi hasil belajar, demikian pula sebaliknya semakin tidak tepat pemanfaatan media pembelajaran maka akan diikuti dengan rendahnya hasil belajar. (2) Terdapat hubungan positif gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA, hal ini terbukti dengan hasil rhitung > rtabel (0.394 > 0.3610). Hal tersebut menunjukkan semakin sesuai cara pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar maka akan semakin tinggi hasil belajar IPA, demikian pula sebaliknya semakin tidak sesuai cara pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar maka akan diikuti dengan rendahnya hasil belajar. (3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan gaya belajar secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar IPA, hal ini terbukti dengan nilai sig. F Change < nilai α (0.000 < 0.05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tepat pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan semakin sesuai cara pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar akan semakin tinggi hasil belajar. Demikian pula sebaliknya semakin tidak tepat pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dan semakin tidak sesuai cara pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar maka akan diikuti dengan rendahnya hasil belajar. | |||||||||
