Abstract
The mosque building is a place used for Muslim worship designed for the convenience and safety of the public. Based on SNI, the room temperature is comfortably warm, ranging from 25.8°C – 27.1°C with humidity of 60% - 70%, and according to the MENKES, No.261/MENKES/11/1998, the ventilation flow rate for a healthy room is 0. 15~0.25m/s. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the cooling load, including; calculating of the cooling load from outside, inside, as well as building ventilation and calculating the total cooling needed in the mosque's room used for prayer. The calculation method for several relevant parameters and cooling load is based on Standard SNI 03-6572-2001, SNI 6389: 2011, SNI 6390:2011, and ASHRAE 2021, with variables measured in the form of temperature and room dimensions and simulation of the behavior of the air in the room. The calculation results for the total cooling load on the 1st floor is 92169.135 BTU/h, the 2nd floor is -151404.078 BTU/h, and the priest's room is -9344.209 BTU/h, with an average bulk velocity of 2.153 m/s and an average bulk temperature of 296.13 K, then on the 1st (one) floor it takes 5 AC split 2 PK, then for the floor 2 (two) it takes 2 stand AC 5 PK and 4 AC split 2 PK, and 1 AC split 2 PK in the priest's room to cool the room at 27°C.

Additional Information: | Bangunan Masjid adalah tempat yang dipergunakan untuk ibadah umat muslim yang dirancang untuk kenyamanan serta keamanan untuk publik. Berdasarkan SNI suhu ruangan nyaman hangat berkisar 25,8°C – 27,1°C dengan kelembaban sebesar 60% - 70%, dan menurut MENKES, No.261/MENKES/11/1998, laju aliran ventilasi ruangan yang sehat sebesar 0,15~0,25 m/s. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis beban pendinginan meliputi perhitungan beban pendingin dari luar, dalam, serta ventilasi bangunan dan perhitungan pendingin total yang dibutuhkan pada ruang masjid yang digunakan untuk sholat. Metode perhitungan terhadap beberapa parameter yang relevan dan beban pendinginan berdasarkan Standar SNI 03-6572-2001, SNI 6389 : 2011, SNI 6390 : 2011, dan ASHRAE 2021 dengan variable yang diukur berupa suhu dan dimensi ruangan serta simulasi perilaku udara dalam ruangan tersebut. Hasil perhitungan total beban pendinginan pada lantai 1 sebesar 92169.135 BTU/h, lantai 2 sebesar -151404.078 BTU/h, dan ruang imam sebesar -9344.209 BTU/h, dengan velocity bulk average sebesar 2,153 m/s dan temperature bulk average sebesar 296,13 K, maka pada lantai 1 (satu) dibutuhkan 5 buah AC split 2 PK, lalu untuk lantai 2 (dua) dibutuhkan 2 buah AC stand 5 PK dan 4 AC split 2 PK, dan 1 AC split 2 PK pada ruang imam untuk mendinginkan ruangan pada suhu 27°C. | |||||||||
