Abstract
This study aims to determine the Role of Campus Internal Organizations in Sociology Education Students, FKIP Untirta. The subjects in this study were the leaders, members and non-members of the FKIP UNTIRTA sociology education student association. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation needed in the research. Data analysis carried out in this study was data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the internal campus organization is an organization that is contained within the campus and is directly shaded by the campus. Campus internal organizations take various forms, one of which is the majors student association. Sociology education student associations have many roles that can be felt by sociology education students either directly or indirectly. One example of the role that they can feel directly is the association of students majoring in sociology education which can become a forum or place for sociology education students to develop all their abilities. Apart from their role, student associations majoring in sociology education also provide many benefits to students of sociology education. One of the benefits is that sociology education student associations can be a bridge in establishing relationships or friendships that are quite extensive for sociology education students. However, unknowingly behind it all there are still many hopes from sociology education students related to the role of sociology education student associations which have not been implemented or achieved properly according to the mutual expectations of sociology education students. There is still much that needs to be evaluated together in order to create a better role for sociology education student associations.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Organisasi Internal Kampus Pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi FKIP Untirta. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Pimpinan, anggota dan non anggota dari himpunan mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi FKIP UNTIRTA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah Organisasi internal kampus merupakan organisasi yang terdapat didalam kampus dan dinaungi langsung oleh kampus. Organisasi internal kampus beragam bentuknya, salah satunya adalah himpunan mahasiswa jurusan. Himpunan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan sosiologi memiliki banyak peran yang dapat dirasakan oleh mahasiswa-mahasiswi pendidikan sosiologi baik secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung. Salah satu contoh dari peran yang bisa mereka rasakan secara langsung adalah himpunan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan sosiologi dapat menjadi wadah atau tempat untuk mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi dapat mengembangkan segala kemampuan yang dimiliki. Selain daripada peran, himpunan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan sosiologi juga banyak memberikan manfaat kepada mahasiswa-mahasiswi pendidikan sosiologi. Salah satu manfaatnya adalah himpunan mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi dapat menjadi jembatan dalam menjalin relasi ataupun hubungan pertemanan yang cukup luas untuk mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi. Namun, tanpa disadari dibalik itu semua masih banyak harapan-harapan dari mahasiswa-mahasiswi pendidikan sosiologi terkait dari peran himpunan mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi yang belum dapat terjalankan atau tercapai dengan baik sesuai dari harapan-harapan bersama mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi. Masih banyak yang perlu dievaluasi bersama guna dapat menciptakan peran himpunan mahasiswa pendidikan sosiologi yang lebih baik. | |||||||||
