Abstract

There are many media that can be used in online learning, one of which is Youtube . Youtube is a place to share videos that use network access. The use of Youtube media in the reading development of children aged 5-6 years is very helpful in their learning and so that it is easier for parents to stimulate and teach children. This study aims to describe Parental Stimulation and Use of Youtube for Reading Development of Children aged 5-6 Years in AL-Basitoh Panggungrawi Kindergarten. This research method is a qualitative description with a descriptive type with the research subject of Students and Parents. The data in this study were obtained in three ways, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by collecting data, sorting data, displaying data and then drawing conclusions. In testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The data obtained in the form of qualitative data that contains a description of the results of observations and interviews with parents regarding the features used in Youtube . The steps taken by parents in using Youtube as well as the impact when using Youtube on the reading development of children aged 5-6 years, and the obstacles and solutions in using Youtube . This research was conducted at AL-Basitoh Panggungrawi Kindergarten. The results showed that the features used by parents were reading videos on Youtube , playlists , Share Links , and reading learning videos on Youtube . The steps taken by parents in using Youtube media for the development of reading children aged 5-6 years consisted of: of two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The obstacle faced when using Youtube for the development of reading children aged 5-6 years is that parents download learning videos on Youtube by accessing www. youtube .com then parents use the features of playlists , share links , and learning videos to read on Youtube.

Additional Information:	Banyak media yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran dalam jaringan, salah satunya adalah Youtube. Youtube merupakan tempat berbagi video yang menggunakan akses jaringan. Penggunaan media Youtube pada perkembangan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun sangat membantu dalam pembelajarannya dan sehingga orangtua lebih mudah menstimulasi dan mengajarakan terhadap anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Stimulasi Orangtua dan Penggunaan Youtube untuk Perkembangan Membaca Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di TK AL-Basitoh Panggungrawi. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian Peserta didik dan Orangtua. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara pengumpulan data, memilah data, display data dan selanjutnya adalah penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam menguji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif yang berisi deskripsi tentang hasil observasi dan wawancara orangtua mengenai fitur-fitur yang digunakan dalam Youtube. Langkahlangkah yang dilakukan oleh orangtua dalam penggunaan Youtube serta dampak ketika menggunakan Youtube pada perkembangan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun, dan kendala serta solusi dalam menggunakan Youtube. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK AL-Basitoh Panggungrawi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa fitur-fitur yang digunakan orangtua yaitu video membaca di Youtube, playlist, Share Link, dan video pembelajaran membaca di Youtube.. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh orangtua dalam penggunaan medfia Youtube untuk perkembangan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu tahapan persiapan dan tahapan pelaksanaan. Kendala yang dihadapi saat penggunaan Youtube untuk perkembangan membaca anak usia 5-6tahun yaitu orangtua men-download video pembelajaran di Youtube dengan cara mengakses www.youtube.com selanjutnya orangtua menggunakan fitur-fitur playlist, share link, dan video pembelajaran membaca di Youtube.
