Abstract

The teacher is one of the elements of education that has an important role in improving the quality of learning. One of the stages in order to be able to provide quality learning, teachers need to design appropriate learning plans according to an analysis of the needs of early childhood in order to be able to optimize the development of children in their golden age. This, of course, needs to be supported by competence and academic qualifications according to the standards in force in Indonesia. The goal to be achieved in this study is to analyze the influence of the academic qualifications of early childhood education teachers on the ability to prepare lesson plans in Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with the ex post facto method (causal research). The sample used in this study was 30 teachers in Tirtayasa District, which was determined by the saturated sampling technique. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire distributed to 9 PAUD institutions with playgroup services. Based on the results obtained in this study, it shows that the significance value of simple linear regression is 0.009 and the correlation value (R) is 0.217, which means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. In other words, there is a significant effect of the academic qualifications of early childhood education teachers on the ability to prepare lesson plans in Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency.

Additional Information: Guru merupakan salah satu elemen pendidikan yang memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Salah satu tahap agar mampu memberikan pembelajaran yang berkualitas, guru perlu merancang perencanaan pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai analisis kebutuhan anak usia dini agar mampu mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak di usia emas mereka. Hal tersebut tetntunya perlu ditunjang dengan kompetensi dan kuelifikasi akademik sesuai standard yang berlaku di Indonesia. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualifikasi akademik guru PAUD terhadap kemampuan menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran di Kecamatan Tirtayasa, Kabupaten Serang. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto (causal research). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanayak 30 orang guru di Kecamatan Tirtayasa yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang disebar pada 9 lembaga PAUD dengan layanan kelompok bermain. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi regresi linear sederhana didapatkan nilai sebesar 0,009 dan nilai korelai (R) sebesar 0,217 yang artinya H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan kata lain, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kualifikasi akademik guru PAUD terhadap kemampuan menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran di Kecamatan Tirtayasa, Kabupaten Serang.
