Abstract

This Final Project Report examines the implementation of distribution channels for drinking water products in a marketing context. Drinking water is a basic need for humans, and with a growing population, the demand for safe and quality drinking water is increasing. Therefore, it is important for water companies to have efficient and effective distribution channels to meet customer needs. This study aims to analyze and implement optimal distribution channels for drinking water products. The research method used is descriptive method, collecting primary data through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature with drinking water companies, and data analysis using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the implementation of distribution channels was divided into two, namely direct distribution channels and indirect distribution channels. From the two distribution channels, there were two consumers, namely intermediary consumers and direct consumers, having distribution concepts including Accessibility, Availability, Cost efficiency, Proper product placement. , Collaboration with distribution partners, performance evaluation and has several factors that influence distribution, namely market considerations, goods considerations, company considerations, and intermediary considerations. Good distribution involves several key factors, including the selection of appropriate distribution channels, distribution channel factors and the concept of distribution channels for drinking water products.

Additional Information: Laporan Tugas Akhir ini mengkaji tentang implementasi saluran distribusi produk air minum dalam konteks pemasaran. Air minum merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi manusia, dan dengan populasi yang terus bertambah, permintaan akan air minum yang aman dan berkualitas semakin meningkat. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi perusahaan air minum untuk memiliki saluran distribusi yang efisien dan efektif guna memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengimplementasikan saluran distribusi yang optimal untuk produk air minum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan dengan perusahaan air minum, dan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi saluran distribusi dibagi menjadi dua yaitu saluran distribusi langsung dan saluran distribusi tidak langsung dari kedua saluran distribusi tersebut terdapat dua konsumen yaitu konsumen perantara dan konsumen langsung, memiliki konsep distribusi antara lain Aksesibilitas, Ketersediaan, Efisiensi biaya, Penempatan produk yang tepat, Kolaborasi dengan mitra distribusi, Evaluasi kinerja dan memiliki beberapa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi distribusi yaitu pertimbangan pasar, pertimbangan barang, pertimbangan perusahaan, dan pertimbangan perantara. Distribusi yang baik melibatkan beberapa faktor kunci, termasuk pemilihan saluran distribusi yang tepat, faktor-faktor saluran distribusi dan konsep saluran distribusi produk air minum.
