Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of bananas in Serang City, and use them as content in developing alternative learning resources in the form of e-module. The research method used is survey method. The survey was conducted in 6 traditional markets and 4 modern markets in Serang City. The e-module was created using research and development (R&D) methods. This research was conducted on March 2021 to March 2022 at SMAN 5 City of Serang, SMAN 6 City of Serang, SMAN 8 City of Serang and the UNTIRTA Biology Education Laboratory. The feasibility of the E-module was tested by material experts with a score of 96.67% and two media experts with a score of 88.55%. Both values are included in the very feasible category. The results of the limited trial to students obtained a score of 82,1% which was included in the very decent category. Thus it can be concluded that the development of E-modules based on contextual learning with content on the diversity of bananas in Serang City on biodiversity material for class X students is very appropriate to use as a learning medium and enrich knowledge about banana diversity in Indonesia, especially Serang City.
