Abstract
This research aims to investigate the implementation of Soscio-Affective strategies in the classroom, to know the students' responses and students' challenges while they learn using these strategies. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design. The data were taken a observation, questionnaire, and interview. The data are taken from the one teacher and 40 students in the classroom. In this research, the researcher found three indicators: how is the implementation of Socio-affective strategies in improving students’ speaking skill, what are the students' responses to the use of Socio-affective strategies in improving students’ speaking skill, and what are the challenges of the use of Socio-affective strategies in improving students’ speaking skill. Therefore, this strategy can improve the student speaking skills through a socio-affective strategies; the tenth-grade students of SMAN 6 Kota Serang have a significant improvement. Besides the teacher also used two types of Socio-Affective: asking questions and group work.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan strategi Soscio-Affective di kelas, untuk mengetahui respon siswa dan tantangan siswa selama mereka belajar menggunakan strategi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diambil berupa observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Data diambil dari satu guru dan 40 siswa di kelas. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan tiga indikator: bagaimana implementasi strategi Sosio-afektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, apa tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan strategi Sosio-afektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, dan apa tantangan penggunaan strategi Sosio-afektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Oleh karena itu, strategi ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui strategi sosio-afektif; siswa kelas sepuluh SMAN 6 Kota Serang mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Selain itu guru juga menggunakan dua jenis Sosio-Afektif yaitu bertanya dan group work. | |||||||||
