Abstract
ABSTRACT Ari Maulana. NIM. 6662160142. Undergraduate thesis. The Interpretation of the Student Audience Towards the Narrative Video of Mr Kece on the Opini.id Youtube Channel . Communication Science Program Study, Faculty of Social and Politic. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, 2023. First Advisor: Puspita Asri Praceka., M.I.Kom. Second Advisor: Darwis Sagita., M.I.Kom. The development of conventional media into digital media was followed by the development of various news media which were originally conventional news media to become online news media. Opini.id is an online media that has various platforms, one of which is Youtube. One of the programs on Opini.Id's YouTube channel that caught the attention of the audience was Mr. Kece which is a video narrative conducted by an anonymous person who focuses on conveying issues related to government and politics with a satirical style of delivery. The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning of students related to the style of delivery carried out by Mr. Disappointed in the video "Mas Ghibran uses cheat huh? This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely structured interviews with 3 informants. This research uses reception analysis method with Stuart Hall's Encoding-Decoding theory. The results showed that each informant had a different reception category. The first informant has a dominant hegemonic position which shows the same understanding as the messenger. The second informant has a negotiating position which is shown by receiving the message conveyed by Mr. cute, but has some understanding that is considered inappropriate by the messenger. The third informant has an oppositional position which is indicated by the opposite meaning of the messenger. Keywords: Reception Analysis, Encoding-Decoding, Mr. Kece, Opini.id

Perkembangan media konvensional menjadi media digital diikuti pula dengan perkembangan berbagai media berita yang semula termasuk media berita konvensional menjadi media berita online. Opini.id termasuk salah satu media online yang memilki berbagai macam platform salah satu nya yaitu Youtube. Salah satu program dalam channel youtube milik Opini.Id yang menarik perhatian penonton adalah Mr. Kece yang termasuk video narasi yang dilaksanakan oleh seorang anonim yang fokus dalam menyampaikan isu-isu terkait pemerintahan dan politik dengan gaya penyampaian yang satire. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemaknaan mahasiwa terkait gaya penyampaian yang dilaksanakan oleh Mr. Kece pada video “Mas Ghibran pake Cheat Ya?. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara terstruktur terhadap 3 orang informan. Penelitian ini memakai metode analisis resepsi dengan teori Encoding-Decoding milik Stuart Hall. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya masing-masing informan memiliki kategori resepsi yang berbeda. Informan pertama memiliki posisi dominan hegemonis yang memperlihatkan pemhaman yang sama dengan penyampai pesan. Informan kedua memiliki posisi negosiasi yang ditunjukkan dengan menerima pesan yang disapaikan oleh Mr. kece, namun memiliki beberapa pemahaman yang dianggap tidak sesuai penyampai pesan. Informan ketiga memiliki posisi oposisi yang ditunjukkan dengan makna yang bertolak belakang dengan penyampai pesan. Kata Kunci: Analisis Resepsi, Encoding-Decoding, Mr. Kece, Opini.id | |||||||||
