Abstract

This study explored the influence of using animated picture media on the students. This researcher conducted quantitative researh by using a quasi experiment design. The method of collecting data is the test (pre-test and post-test). The study was conducted at MTsN 02 Tangerang involving 73 students in second grade (class 8.3 and 8.4). The result of the research showed that there was influence of animated pictures towards student speaking skill at MTsN 2 Tangerang. This is supported by the students' scores that they scored higher in the post-test than the pre-test after the researcher gave treatment using animated pictures in learning speaking skills. Based on the results of the experimental class, it is known that t-count is 14.21 higher than t-table is 5.454, the significance is 0.000. While the basis for decision-making is that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected if the significance value is less than 0.05. Therefore, the significance value is less than 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, it means that there is significant influence of using Animated Pictures toward Student Speaking Skills at MtsN 2 Tangerang. In other words, the use of animated pictures has a significant effect on the speaking ability of even semester VIII grade students at MtsN 2 Tangerang School in the 2022/2023 academic year. Additional Information: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh penggunaan media gambar animasi terhadap siswa. Peneliti ini melakukan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu. Itu metode pengumpulan data adalah tes (pre-test dan post-test). Penelitian dilakukan pada MTsN 02 Tangerang melibatkan 73 siswa kelas II (kelas 8.3 dan 8.4). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh gambar animasi terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa keterampilan di MTsN 2 Tangerang. Hal ini didukung dengan nilai siswa yang memperoleh nilai lebih tinggi pada post-test dibandingkan pre-test setelah peneliti memberikan treatment dengan menggunakan gambar animasi ini mempelajari keterampilan berbicara. Berdasarkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen diketahui thitung sebesar 14,21 lebih tinggi dari ttabel sebesar 5,454 signifikansi 0,000. Sedangkan dasar untuk pengambilan keputusan adalah Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak jika nilai signifikansinya kurang dari 0,05. Oleh karena itu, nilai signifikansinya kurang dari 0,05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan Ha adalah diterima, berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan Gambar Animasi terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa di MtsN 2 Tangerang. Dengan kata lain penggunaan gambar animasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VIII semester genap MtsN 2 Sekolah Tangerang pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023.
