Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan model teoritikal dasar dan model penelitian empiris baru untuk menyelesaikan kesenjangan (gap) hasil-hasil penelitian sebelumnya mengenai hubungan kebijakan kompenasi dan efektifitas desain pekerjaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan serta kepuasan kerja dalam memediasi kebijakan kompenasi dan efektifitas desain pekerjaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dan eksplanatori. Objek penelitian adalah pengguna karyawan PT Mandiri Utama Finance Cabang Serang Raya. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sempel jenuh dengan sampel berjumlah 165 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.2.9.. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1)Kebijakan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, 2) Efektifitas desain pekerjaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, 3) Kebijakan kompensasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, 4) Efektifitas desain pekerjaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, 5) Kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, 6) Kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh kebijakan kompensasi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, 7) Kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh efektifitas desain pekerjaan secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
