Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of utilization of learning media on magnetic style material which can facilitate students' creative thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to create instructional media, describe the characteristics of the developed learning media, and determine the feasibility and response levels of students. This R&D research uses the 4D development research model which consists of several stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the research are learning media products GABBLE FACE (GAME BASED PROBLEM BASED LEARNING FOR MAGNETIC FORCE). Based on the results of validation by material and media experts, it was stated that the product obtained a percentage of 93% in the "very feasible" category. While the results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 88% in the "very good" category. So it can be concluded that GABBLE FACE learning media (GAME BASED PROBLEM BASED LEARNING FOR MAGNETIC FORCE) can be used in learning to facilitate students' creative thinking skills.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran pada materi gaya magnetic yang dapat memfasilitasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah membuat media pembelajaran, mendeskripsikan karaktersitik media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan respon peserta didik. Penelitian R&D ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Hasil penelitian berupa produk media pembelajaran GABBLE FACE (GAME BASED PROBLEM BASED LEARNING FOR MAGNETIC FORCE). Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan media dinyatakan bahwa produk memperoleh presentase sebesar 93% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Sedangkan hasil angket respon peserta didik memperoleh presentase sebesar 88% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran GABBLE FACE (GAME BASED PROBLEM BASED LEARNING FOR MAGNETIC FORCE) dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.
