Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of learning media using Articulate Storyline on the material of the motion system. Articulate Storyline is a software that can be used to create interactive learning media that can package text, images, video, animation, and audio in one large format like a flash program on the website. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RND) with 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). Articulate Storyline learning media was developed through the validation stages of media experts, material experts, and respondent trials to teachers and students. The results showed the feasibility of Articulate Storyline as a learning media with a value of 87.5% for media experts, a value of 93.5% for material experts, a value of 94% for teacher responses, and a value of 92% for student responses. Based on the results of expert validation as well as teacher and student responses, Articulate Storyline is declared very feasible to be used as learning media in high schools, especially on the material of the motion system.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Articulate Storyline pada materi sistem gerak. Articulate Storyline merupakan sebuah software yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat mengemas teks, gambar, video, animasi, dan audio dalam satu format besar seperti program flash di dalam website. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RND) dengan 5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation (ADDIE). Media pembelajaran Articulate Storyline dikembangkan melalui tahap validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan uji coba responden kepada guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelayakan Articulate Storyline sebagai media pembelajaran dengan nilai 87,5% untuk ahli media, nilai 93,5% untuk ahli materi, nilai 94% untuk respon guru, dan nilai 92% untuk respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli serta respon guru dan siswa tersebut, maka Articulate Storyline dinyatakan sangat layak untuk dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas khususnya pada materi sistem gerak.
