Abstract

The implementation of learning using the 2013 curriculum in cultural arts subjects has not been able to fully achieve its goals, especially in students' role-playing skills in theater arts material at SMKT Global 2 Bandung. This is due to the lack of learning methods and media. The purpose of this study is to find out, namely 1) the process of role-playing with demonstration methods using theater properties at SMKT Global 2 Bandung District. 2) learning outcomes with demonstration methods using theater properties against playing theater roles at SMKT Global 2 Bandung District. The research method used by Classroom Action Research (PTK) based on the Kemmis Metaggart model was carried out in two cycles, in cycle I four actions were carried out and in cycle II three actions were carried out. The subjects in the study were 10 students, 6 boys and 4 girls. The results of the demonstration method research using theatrical properties in role-playing from cycle I to cycle II, look significant with a percentage result of 77.5%. During the pre-cycle it got a percentage result of 50.3%, and then the percentage result increased in cycle I which was 67.1% and in cycle II it increased by 77.5%. The percentage data is considered successful because the percentage result is greater than the predetermined percentage indicator which is 75%.

Additional Information: Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran seni budaya belum sepenuhnya dapat mencapai tujuan khusunya dalam keterampilan bermain peran siswa pada materi seni teater di SMKT Global 2 Bandung. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena kurangnya metode dan media pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui yaitu 1) proses bermain peran dengan metode demonstrasi menggunakan properti teater di SMKT Global 2 Kecamatan Bandung. 2) hasil pembelajaran dengan metode demonstrasi menggunakan property teater terhadap bermain peran teater di SMKT Global 2 Kecamatan Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berdasarkan model Kemmis Metaggart dengan dilakukan dua siklus, siklus I dilakukan empat tindakan dan pada siklus II dilakukan tiga tindakan. Subjek dalam penelitian 10 siswa 6 laki-laki dan 4 perempuan. Adapun hasil penelitian metode demonstrasi menggunakan properti teater dalam bermain peran dari siklus I hingga siklus II, terlihat signifikan dengan hasil presentase 77,5%. Pada saat pra siklus mendapatkan hasil presentase sebesar 50,3%, dan kemudian hasil presentase mengalami kenaikan disiklus I yaitu sebesar 67,1% dan pada siklus II mengalami kenaikan sebesar 77,5%. Data presentase tersebut maka dianggap berhasil karena hasil presentase lebih besar dari presentase indicator yang telah ditentukan yaitu 75%.
