Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of planting media and the aplication of various concentrations of Liquid Organic Fertilizer of Rabbit’s Urine to the growth and yield of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.). The research was conducted from February until April 2023 at the Experimental Land of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa at Cikuya Karang Kitri Sindang Sari Village Pabuaran District Serang Regency of Banten Province and the Agroecotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. This research used a Randomized Completely Blocks Design (RCBD) with two factors. The first factor was, effect of Planting Media (M) which consisted of 3 levels, namely: Soil + rice husk charcoal 2:1 (M1), Soil + goat manure fertilizer 2:1 (M2), soil + rice husk charcoal + goat manure fertilizer 2:1:1 (M3) the second factor was Liquid Organic Fertilizer of Rabbit’s urine which consisted of 4 levels, namely: control (K0), Liquid Organic Fertilizer 20 ml/l (K1), Liquid Organic Fertilizer 40 ml/l (K2) and Liquid Organic Fertilizer 60 ml/l (K3). The combined treatment of planting media has the best influence on the parameters of plant height (22.41 cm), number of leaves (18.50 strands), wet weight of plants (95.83 g), root length 15.00 g and dry weight of plants (4.83 g). The application of the concentration level of rabbit urine liquid organic fertilizer gave the best influence on the parameters of plant wet weight (95.33 g), root wet weight (4.22 g), and plant dry weight (4.69). There was an interaction between the combined treatment of growing media and the application of the concentration level of rabbit urine liquid organic fertilizer to wet weight parameters only.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam dan aplikasi berbagai konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair Urin Kelinci terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai April 2023 di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Cikuya Karang Kitri Desa Sindang Sari Kecamatan Pabuaran Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten dan Laboratorium Agroekoteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pengaruh Media Tanam (M) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu: Tanah + arang sekam padi 2:1 (M1), Tanah + pupuk kotoran kambing 2:1 (M2), tanah + arang sekam + pupuk kotoran kambing 2:1:1 (M3) faktor kedua adalah Pupuk Organik Cair Urin Kelinci yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu: kontrol (K0), Pupuk Organik Cair 20 ml/l (K1), Pupuk Organik Cair 40 ml /l (K2) dan Pupuk Organik Cair 60 ml/l (K3). Perlakuan kombinasi media tanam memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada parameter tinggi tanaman (22,41 cm), jumlah daun (18,50 helai), berat basah tanaman (95,83 g), panjang akar 15,00 g dan berat kering tanaman (4,83 g). ). Aplikasi tingkat konsentrasi pupuk organik cair urin kelinci memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada parameter berat basah tanaman (95,33 g), berat basah akar (4,22 g), dan berat kering tanaman (4,69). Terdapat interaksi antara kombinasi perlakuan media tanam dan aplikasi konsentrasi pupuk organik cair urine kelinci terhadap parameter berat basah saja.
