Abstract
Rice is the main source of food for nearly half of the world's population. Indonesia is one of them, almost the entire population of Indonesia fulfills their food needs from rice plants. Seed is one of the important factors in supporting production. Based on data from the Kronjo Agricultural Extension Center (2022) it is known that the yield of rice productivity in Kosambi Dalam Village from October to March 2021/2022 with the highest yield reaching 6.0 tons/ha, while the lowest yield was 5.5 tons/ha, and an average of 5.2 tons/ha Ha. If you look at the average national rice productivity which reaches 3-6 tonnes/ha, the yield of rice productivity in Kosambi Dalam Village is low. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The analysis carried out in this study is the validity test, reliability test and spearman rank test. Based on the results of the Spearman rank test, it is known that Farmers' perceptions of the use of superior rice seeds show good perceptions, the relationship between Farmers' characteristics On the perception of the use of superior rice seeds can be seen that the results of the Spearman rank correlation test show that the Correlation Coefficient value is 0.527 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, it is said to be accepted with a strong relationship category, and the relationship between farmers' perceptions. In appropriate technology for superior rice seeds, it is known that the results of the Spearman rank correlation test show that the Correlation Coefficient value is 0.500 with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05, so it is said to be accepted in the category strong relationship.

| Additional Information: | Beras merupakan sumber makanan utama bagi hampir separuh populasi dunia. Indonesia salah satunya, hampir seluruh penduduk Indonesia memenuhi kebutuhan pangannya dari tanaman padi. Benih merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menunjang produksi. Berdasarkan data Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kronjo (2022) diketahui hasil produktivitas padi di Desa Kosambi Dalam pada bulan Oktober sampai Maret 2021/2022 dengan hasil tertinggi mencapai 6,0 ton/ha, sedangkan hasil terendah 5,5 ton/ha. ha, dan rata-rata 5,2 ton/ha Ha. Jika melihat rata-rata produktivitas padi nasional yang mencapai 3-6 ton/ha, maka produktivitas padi di Desa Kosambi Dalam tergolong rendah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji rank spearman. Berdasarkan hasil uji rank spearman diketahui bahwa Persepsi petani terhadap penggunaan benih padi unggul menunjukkan persepsi yang baik, hubungan karakteristik Petani Pada persepsi penggunaan benih padi unggul terlihat bahwa hasilnya dari uji korelasi rank spearman diperoleh nilai Koefisien Korelasi sebesar 0,527 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dikatakan diterima dengan kategori hubungan kuat, dan hubungan persepsi petani. Pada teknologi tepat guna benih padi unggul diketahui hasil uji korelasi rank spearman menunjukkan nilai Koefisien Korelasi sebesar 0,500 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga dikatakan diterima dalam kategori hubungan kuat. | |||||||||
