Abstract
Mobile Training Unit (MTU) are training facilities that use mobile vehicles to visit places located in remote areas with the hope of being able to improve the competence of the workforce in various specific fields. This study aims to determine (1) Management of the Culinary Mobile Training Unit Tata Boga (2) Results of community empowerment (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors of the MTU program. The method used by the authors in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The data source for this research consisted of 12 people, namely 1 training coordinator, 2 training instructors and 9 training participants. The results of this study indicate that (1) the management of the Mobile Training Unit(MTU) program at PPKD West Jakarta has been going well from the planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring stages. (2) Empowerment results, namely participants can produce food products and can apply their cooking knowledge to open a business. (3) the supporting factors in the MTU program are the motivation of the training participants and fairly complete infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are the characteristics of the training participants and the training venues.

| Additional Information: | Unit Pelatihan Keliling (Mobile Training Unit) adalah sebagai sarana pelatihan yang menggunakan kendaraan keliling dengan mengunjungi tempat yang berada di pelosok daerah dengan harapan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga kerja diberbagai bidang tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengelolaan Unit Pelatihan Keliling (Mobile Training Unit) Tata Boga (2) Hasil Keberdayaan Peserta Pelatihan (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat program MTU. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari 12 orang, yaitu 1 koordinator pelatihan, 2 instruktur pelatihan dan 9 peserta pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bawha (1) Pengelolaan progam unit pelatihan keliling (MTU) di PPKD Jakarta Barat sudah berjalan dengan baik dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan. (2) Hasil keberdayaan yaitu peserta dapat menghasilkan produk makanan dan dapat menuangkan ilmu memasaknya untuk membuka usaha. (3) faktor pendukung dalam program MTU yaitu motivasi peserta pelatihan dan sarana prasarana yang cukup lengkap. Adapun faktor penghambat nya yaitu karakteristik peserta pelatihan dan tempat pelatihan. | |||||||||
