Abstract
The Effect of the company’s growth affect the capital structure, using profitability is able to intervening variable from food and beverage company which are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2013-2016 is tittle skripsi from Neni Pitriyani (5551140567), Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University students of Faculty of Economics and Business Departement of Management (Finansial Management) under the guidance of Dr. Wawan Ichwanudin, SE., M.Si as the I and Enis Khaerunnisa, SE., MM as the II. Intention of research this is the to know the effect of corporate growth on profitability, to determine the effect of corporate growth on capital structure, to determine the profitability of capital structure, and to determine the effect of profitability mediation in the relationship of the company's growth of capital structure at the company Manufacturing Sub Sector Food and beverage Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2016. In addition, the population obtain from food and beverage company which are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2013-2016. The sample gathered 13 firms-years observation amount by using purposive sampling method The analytical method are using path analysis the conducted use aid IBM SPSS 22.0. Base analysis result by using IBM SPSS 22.0 are known that: 1) the value of t count > t table (2,353> 1,69236) and significant value less than 0,05 (0,025 < 0,05), meaning that company growth have positive and significant effect to profitability. 2) the value of arithmetic (-0.003 < -1,69389) and significant value greater than 0.05 (0.998 > 0.05), meaning that the company's growth has no positive effect on capital structure. 3) the value of arithmetic> t table (-3,169 < 1,69389) and significant value less than 0.05 (0.004 < 0.05), meaning profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure. Then the results of the test show that 4) t value greater than t table is 1,8892 > 1,74 so it can be concluded, profitability is able to mediate significantly the company's growth to the capital structure.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas, untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap struktur modal, untuk mengetahui profitabilitas terhadap struktur modal, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh mediasi profitabilitas dalam hubungan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Makanan dan Minuman yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2013-2016. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 20132016. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 13 perusahaan dengan menggunakan metode Purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) menggunakan bantuan IBM SPSS 22.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan bantuan IBMSPSS 22.0 diketahui bahwa: 1) nilai t hitung > t tabel (2,353 > 1,69236) dan nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,025 < 0,05), artinya pertumbuhan perusahan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. 2) nilai t hitung (-0,003 < -1,69389) dan nilai signifikan lebih besar dari 0,05 (0,998 > 0,05), artinya pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap struktur modal. 3) nila t hitung > t tabel (-3,169 < -1,69389) dan nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,004 < 0,05), artinya profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Kemudian hasil uji sobel menunjukan bahwa 4) nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 1,8892 > 1,74 sehingga dapat disimpulkan, profitabilitas mampu memediasi secara signifikan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap struktur modal. | |||||||||
