Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying just in time and total quality management on the performance of refined industry companies in the Modern Cikande area, Serang Regency. The research method uses quantitative methods. The research design consists of a causal design. The research population is managers and supervisors at refined industry companies in the Modern Cikande area, Serang Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and the sampling method with a total sample of 100 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis used path analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3 for students. Based on the research results, it is known that the R Square value in the firm performance variable construct is 0.366 indicating a variation in the substantive effect of the independent variables, namely the variable just in time and total quality management simultaneously by 36.6 percent. The results of the hypothesis test, it is known that the application of just in time has a positive effect on company performance, and (2) the application of total quality management has a positive effect on company performance

Additional Information:	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan just in time dan total quality management terhadap kinerja perusahaan industri olahan di kawasan Modern Cikande Kabupaten Serang. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini terdiri dari desain kausal. Populasi penelitian adalah manager dan supervisor pada perusahaan industri olahan di kawasan Modern Cikande Kabupaten Serang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan cara pengambilan sampel dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan menggunakan program Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 3 for students. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui nilai R Square pada konstruk variabel kinerja perusahaan sebesar 0.366 menunjukkan variasi pengaruh substansif variabel independen, yaitu variabel just in time dan total quality management secara simultan sebesar 36.6 persen. Hasil uji hipotesis, diketahui bahwa penerapan just in time berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan, dan (2) penerapan total quality management berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan.
