Abstract

One of the uses of technology in the educational aspect is to act as a learning medium. However, only 14% of teachers have qualifications in technology, while students are not yet able to manage time when using technology. Facing the development of the 21st century also requires 4C skills, namely the ability of students to think critically, communicate, collaborate, and be creative. Based on this, the purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based electronic student worksheets. The method used in this research is Research and Development which was developed by Thiagarajan namely 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) with the Disseminate stage not carried out. The feasibility results on the media aspect and e-LKPD material were obtained from the validation results of material and media expert lecturers. The limited test results for the use of e-LKPD were obtained from the responses of 28 students of class XII MIPA 1 SMAN 8 Serang City. The results showed that e-LKPD was declared very feasible with a material validity result of 82.7%. On the results of the validity of the media obtained a value of 82.5% with very decent criteria. The E-LKPD was also declared very feasible in the limited test on students, which obtained a score of 92.6%. The conclusion obtained is that STEM-based e-LKPD on biotechnology materials that have been developed are declared valid and very feasible both theoretically and empirically.

Additional Information: Penggunaan teknologi dalam aspek pendidikan salah satunya berperan sebagai media pembelajaran. Namun hanya 14% guru yang memiliki kualifikasi dalam bidang teknologi, serta siswa yang belum mampu mengelola waktu saat menggunakan teknologi. Menghadapi perkembangan abad 21 juga diperlukan keterampilan 4C yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir kritis, berkomunikasi, berkolaborasi, dan berkreasi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbentuk elektronik berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan yaitu 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) dengan tahap Disseminate tidak dilakukan. Hasil kelayakan pada aspek media dan materi e-lkpd diperoleh dari hasil validasi dosen ahli materi dan media. Hasil uji terbatas penggunaan e-lkp diperoleh dari tanggapan 28 siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan e-lkpd dinyatakan sangat layak dengan hasil validitas materi pada produk sebesar 82,7%. Pada hasil validitas media diperoleh nilai sebesar 82,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak. E-lkpd juga dinyatakan sangat layak pada uji terbatas pada siswa yaitu diperoleh nilai sebesar 92,6%. Simpulan yang didapat yaitu e-lkpd berbasis STEM pada materi bioteknologi yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan sangat layak baik secara teoritis maupun empiris.
