Abstract

This research aimed to determine the growth and yield of three hybrid sweet corn plant varieties (Zea mays subsp. mays L.) against the dosing of goat manure fertilizer. The research was conducted in Bulakan Village, Gunung Kencana District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province, from December 2022 to March 2023. This research used Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) with varieties as the first factor with 3 levels: V1 (Bonanza F1), V2 (Paragon F1), V3 (Super sweet corn). The second factor was goat manure dosing with 3 levels: P1 (3.5 kg/plot), P2 (7 kg/plot), P3 (10.5 kg/plot). The Paragon F1 (V2) variety gave the best results on the parameters of leaf counts 45 DAP (6.93 strands), stem diameter 45 DAP (1.65 cm), cob weight (176.28 g), cob weight without lids (156 g), cob diameter without petals (4.13 cm), and cob length (16.89 cm). The dose of goat manure fertilizer of 10.5 kg/plot gave the best results on the observation parameters of leaf count 30 DAP (5.48 strands) and stems diameter 45 DAP (1.58 cm). There was no interaction between the treatment of varieties and the dose of goat manure fertilizer on the observed parameters.

Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAKF) Faktorial dengan varietas sebagai faktor pertama dengan 3 taraf yaitu V1 (Bonanza F1) , V2 (Paragon F1), V3 (Jagung super manis). Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kotoran kambing dengan 3 taraf yaitu P1 (3,5 kg/petak), P2 (7 kg/petak), P3 (10,5 kg/petak). Varietas Paragon F1 (V2) memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter jumlah daun 45 hst (6,93 helai), diameter batang 45 hst (1,65 cm), bobot tongkol (176,28 g), bobot tongkol tanpa kelopak (156 g), tongkol diameter tanpa kelopak (4,13 cm), dan panjang tongkol (16,89 cm). Dosis pupuk kotoran kambing 10,5 kg/petak memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan jumlah daun 30 hst (5,48 helai) dan diameter batang 45 hst (1,58 cm). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan dosis pupuk kotoran kambing terhadap parameter yang diamati.
