Abstract

This research Is motivated by the problem of the school object, namely the lack of varied teaching materials and insight into local history material that is not widely known. However, the teacher still took the initiative to give assignments to find information via the internet. The use of interesting digital-based teaching materials accompanied by pictures and narration is the teaching material desired by students. To overcome these problems, researchers develop digital teaching material products that can help teachers and students learn and explore information that is not widely known about historical events. The teaching material offered by the researcher is in the form of a digital booklet which contains a historical event in the Sunda Strait. This digital booklet was chosen because it can make it easier for students to understand the events of the 1942 Sunda Strait Battle and make students more interested in learning about it. Teaching materials in the form of booklets can also be studied by students independently anywhere and anytime. The type of research used is R&D research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Based on the feasibility assessment of the material expert getting a score of 91%, language expert getting a score of 98%, and media expert getting a score of 88%, then it was found that the three expert validators gave an assessment in the "very feasible" category. The results of the assessment of the teacher's practicality test are included in the "very practical" category with a percentage of 83%. Whereas the results of the practicality assessment of 28 students were included in the "very practical" category with a percentage of 88.3% and were able to attract students' motivation in using digital booklet teaching materials in learning history.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan objek sekolah tersebut yaitu kurangnya bahan ajar yang bervariatif serta wawasan pengetahuan tentang materi sejarah lokal yang belum banyak diketahui. Namun guru tetap berinisiatif untuk memberikan penugasan mencari informasi melalui internet. Penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis digital yang menarik disertai gambar dan narasi merupakan bahan ajar yang diinginkan oleh siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan produk bahan ajar digital yang bisa membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari dan menggali informasi yang belum banyak diketahui terkait peristiwa sejarah. Bahan ajar yang ditawarkan oleh peneliti adalah bahan ajar berbentuk booklet digital yang memuat suatu peristiwa bersejarah di selat sunda. Booklet digital ini dipilih karena dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami peristiwa Pertempuran Selat Sunda 1945 dan membuat siswa lebih tertarik mempelajarinya. Bahan ajar berbentuk booklet juga dapat dipelajari oleh siswa secara mandiri di mana saja dan kapan saja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Berdasarkan penilaian kelayakan ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 91%, ahli Bahasa mendapatkan nilai 98%, dan ahli media mendapatkan nilai 88%, kemudian didapatkan hasil bahwa ketiga validator ahli tersebut memberikan penilaian dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Adapun hasil penilaian dari uji keparktisan guru termasuk pada kategori “sangat praktis” dengan persentase 83%. Sedangkan pada hasil penilaian kepraktisan dari 28 siswa termasuk pada kategori “sangat praktis” dengan persentase 88,3% dan mampu menarik motivasi siswa dalam menggunakan bahan ajar booklet digital dalam pembelajaran sejarah.
