Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of discipline in the community both carried out by individuals and groups, the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 occurred because the level of discipline, especially in implementing health protocols, was still not good. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of implementing disciplinary character strengthening in students as a step to break the chain of the spread of Covid 19. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using observation, interviews, and documentation. The target of this research is grade 4 teachers at SDN Bencongan VI. The results of this study can be concluded that the teacher has implemented the integration of disciplinary values into learning activities properly such as submitting assignments on time, being regular in attending lessons, and bringing stationery and textbooks according to the lesson schedule. The teacher has also set an example for students such as dressing neatly, entering class on time, speaking politely, and following the Health protocol properly. Rules and sanctions have also been applied if there are students who break the rules or make mistakes.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh kurangnya kedisiplinan pada masyarakat baik yang dilakukan oleh individu maupun kelompok, peningkatan kasus positif COVID-19 terjadi lantaran tingkat kedisiplinan khususnya dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan masih kurang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses implementasi penguatan karakter disiplin pada peserta didik sebagai langkah memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid 19. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Target penelitian ini adalah guru kelas 4 di SDN Bencongan VI. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Guru sudah menerapkan pengintegrasian nilai kedisiplinan pada kegiatan pembelajaran dengan baik seperti mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu, teratur dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, dan membawa alat tulis serta buku pelajaran sesuai jadwal pelajaran. Guru juga sudah memberikan contoh bagi peserta didik seperti berpenampilan rapi, masuk kelas tepat waktu, berbicara sopan, dan menjalankan protocol Kesehatan dengan baik. Peraturan dan sanksi juga sudah di terapkan jika ada siswa yang melanggar aturan atau melakukan kesalahan.
