Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of Advance Physics Virtual Laboratory (Adphylab) media at the Franck-Hertz Practicum to facilitate science process skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Rowntree development model. The stages of the Rowntree model consist of 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the development stage and the evaluation stage. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 material expert validators and 2 media experts as well as a limited trial of 20 students who were/had taught modern physics courses. The material expert validation results obtained a value of 90%. The media expert validation results obtained a value of 96.94%. The results of the assessment of students as users amounted to 90.63%. It can be concluded that the Adphylab media in the Franck-Hertz practicum is very feasible to use and facilitates science process skills.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan kelayakan media Advance Physics Virtual Laboratory (Adphylab) pada Praktikum Franck-Hertz untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan proses sains. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Rowntree. Tahapan model Rowntree terdiri atas 3 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 orang validasi ahli materi dan 2 orang ahli media serta uji coba terbatas kepada 20 orang mahasiswa yang sedang/telah mengampu mata kuliah fisika modern. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 90%. Hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 96,94%. Hasil penilaian dari mahasiswa sebagai pengguna sebesar 90,63%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Adphylab pada praktikum Franck-Hertz sangat layak digunakan dan memfasilitasi keterampilan proses sains.
