Abstract

Improving Human Resource Performance is one of the supporting factors for organizational success. Professionalism is needed by employees at work. In addition to professionalism, emotional intelligence will help employees in dealing with problems that exist on duty. Good organizational commitment is also needed, employees with organizational commitment in carrying out their duties will prioritize organizational interests above personal interests and contribute significantly to achieving performance to achieve organizational goals. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was a field survey which was distributed to 88 employees of Bapelkes Krakatau Steel. The results of the research conclusions are as follows: Hypothesis 1 is accepted, professionalism has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Hypothesis 2 is accepted, emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Hypothesis 3 is accepted, professionalism has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Hypothesis 4 is accepted, emotional intelligence has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Hypothesis 5 is accepted, organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Hypothesis 6 is accepted, organizational commitment strengthens the relationship between professionalism and employee performance with partial mediation. Hypothesis 7 is accepted, organizational commitment can strengthen the relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance with partial mediation.

Additional Information: Peningkatan Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung keberhasilan organisasi. Sikap Profesionalisme dibutuhkan oleh karyawan dalam bekerja. Selain profesionalisme kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki akan membantu karyawan dalam menghadapi permasalahan yang ada dalam bertugas. Diperlukan pula komitmen organisasi yang baik, karyawan dengan komitmen organisasi dalam menjalankan tugas akan mendahulukan kepentingan organisasi diatas kepentingan pribadi dan berkontribusi signifikan dalam pencapaian kinerja untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah survey lapangan yang dibagikan kepada 88 karyawan Bapelkes Krakatau Steel. Adapun hasil kesimpulan penelitian sebagai berikut : Hipotesis 1 diterima, profesionalisme berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hipotesis 2 diterima, kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hipotesis 3 diterima, profesionalisme berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Hipotesis 4 diterima, kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi. Hipotesis 5 diterima, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hipotesis 6 diterima, komitmen organisasi memperkuat hubungan profesionalisme terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan mediasi parsial. Hipotesis 7 diterima, komitmen organisasi dapat memperkuat hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja karyawan dengan mediasi parsial.
