Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted SMEs in Indonesia. In the new normal, new strategies are needed to survive. Resource efficiency, target fulfillment productivity, and environmental performance evaluation are effective strategies. UMKM Talita Jaya, a tempeh industry in Cilegon, faces increased sales leading to higher production and waste accumulation. The generated waste consists of solid waste, liquid waste, and gas waste. The Green Productivity (GP) approach is employed to reduce waste, optimize resource utilization, and evaluate productivity. The TOPSIS method is used to select the best alternatives for waste management and environmental performance. The largest waste generated comes from the tempeh washing process. Reduction of wastewater is achieved through coagulation using alum. Waste reduction reaches 100% of the existing condition. The productivity value increases to 1.91, the EI value is 1.78, and the GPI value reaches 1.1, indicating a significant improvement from the previous measurement. UMKM Talita Jaya initially had a productivity value and GPI of 1.9 and 0.72, respectively. Three proposed improvement alternatives are utilizing wood ash, soybean husk waste for briquettes, and the management of liquid waste through coagulation techniques. The TOPSIS method selects liquid waste management as the best alternative. The measurement results show a significant improvement.

UMKM Talita Jaya, industri tempe di Cilegon, menghadapi peningkatan penjualan yang meningkatkan produksi dan akumulasi limbah. Limbah yang dihasilkan adalah limbah padat, cair, dan gas. Pendekatan Green Productivity (GP) digunakan untuk mengurangi limbah, mengefisiensikan sumber daya, dan mengevaluasi produktivitas. Metode TOPSIS digunakan untuk memilih alternatif terbaik dalam pengelolaan limbah dan kinerja lingkungan. Limbah terbesar dihasilkan dari proses pencucian tempe. Pengurangan limbah air dicapai dengan teknik koagulasi menggunakan tawas. Pengurangan limbah cair mencapai 100% dari kondisi eksisting. Nilai produktivitas meningkat menjadi 1,91, nilai EI adalah 1,78, dan nilai GPI mencapai 1,1 yang merupakan peningkatan signifikan dari pengukuran eksisting. UMKM Talita Jaya memiliki nilai produktivitas dan GPI awal sebesar 1,9 dan 0,72. Tiga Alternatif solusi perbaikan yang diusulkan adalah pemanfaatan abu kayu bakar, limbah kulit kacang kedelai menjadi briket, dan pengelolaan limbah cair dengan teknik koagulasi. Metode TOPSIS memilih pengelolaan limbah cair sebagai alternatif terbaik. Hasil pengukuran usulan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. | |||||||||
