Abstract
A suggestive realist setting is an arrangement of elements on stage however, it does not present all the sets as a whole but only presents properties that already represent and describe the setting of events in the script. This setting is often used by theater groups, especially in Banten, but it is still do not know the concept of realist suggestive settings, then how can realist suggestive settings describe the setting of events. In the Wednesday Love Story theatrical performance held by the Artistic Management department, a suggestive realist setting style was used. The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of realist suggestive settings in the Wednesday Love Story theatrical performance, to find out the indicators of realistic suggestive settings that can describe the background of events in the Wednesday Love Story theatrical performance. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This study explains the concept of setting in the Wednesday Love Story theatrical performance, and finds indicators of suggestive realist settings in the Wednesday Love Story theatrical performance that can describe the background of the events in the script.

| Additional Information: | Setting sugestif realis merupakan penataan elemen-elemen di atas panggung namun, tidak menghadirkan semua set secara keseluruhan tetapi hanya menghadirkan properti-properti yang sudah mewakili dan menggambarkan latar peristiwa dalam naskah, setting ini kerap digunakan oleh kelompok-kelompok teater khususnya di banten, namun masih belum mengetahui konsep setting sugestif realis, kemudian bagaimana setting sugestif realis bisa menggambarkan latar peristiwa. Pada pertunjukan teater Kisah Cinta Hari Rabu yang digelar oleh jurusan Tata Artistik menggunakan gaya setting sugestif realis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep setting sugestif realis dalam pertunjukan teater Kisah Cinta Hari Rabu, mengetahui indikator capaian setting sugestif realis dapat menggambarkan latar peristiwa pada pertunjukan teater Kisah Cinta Hari Rabu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menjelaskan konsep setting pada pertunjukan teater Kisah Cinta Hari Rabu, dan menemukan indikator capaian setting sugestif realis pada pertujukan teater Kisah Cinta Hari Rabu dapat mendukung penggambaran latar peristiwa yang ada di dalam naskah | |||||||||
