Abstract
Education has an important role in carrying out the process of cultural reproduction in creating habituation and forming student character values at school. This study aims to identify and describe a habituation process and the effectiveness of Asma’ul Husna habituation activities in instilling student character values at SMAN 2 Serang City. This research methodd uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interview and documentation. The subjects in this study consisted of students, spiritual leaders, deputy publik relations officers, and teachers. The ressults of this study indicate that there is habituation and effectiveness in Asma’ul Husna activities at SMAN 2 Serang City which plays a role in the formation and change of student character values at school. Then for the habituation process and from of effectiveness in this activity, it is carried out through cultural reproduction products consisting of four aspects, namely habitus, capital, arena and symbolic violence. The character values of students in the habitus of Asma’ul Husna activities are discipline, responsibility, courage, honesty, tolerance, religion, and being able to speak in public.

Additional Information: | Pendidikan memiliki peran penting menjalankan proses reproduksi kultural dalam menciptakan habituasi dan pembentukan nilai karakter siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan suatu proses habituasi dan efektivitas dari kegiatan pembiasaan Asma‟ul Husna dalam penanaman nilai karakter siswa di SMAN 2 Kota Serang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif pendekatan deksriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa, ketua rohis, waka humas, dan guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya habituasi dan efektivitas dalam kegiatan Asma‟ul Husna di SMAN 2 Kota Serang, yang berperan dalam pembentukan dan perubahan nilai karakter siswa di sekolah. Kemudian untuk proses habituasi dan bentuk efektivitas dalam kegiatan ini, dilakukan melalui produk reproduksi kultural yang terdiri dari empat aspek yaitu habitus, kapital (modal), arena dan kekerasan simbolik. Nilai karakter siswa dalam habitus kegiatan Asma‟ul Husna yakni kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, keberanian, kejujuran, toleransi, keagamaan, dan mampu berbicara didepan umum. | |||||||||
