Abstract

This research is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D) which aims to produce an electrical circuit training product based on Trainer Kit and video modules and find out the level of feasibility in the training process. Based on data from an online survey of 162 respondents of vocational students and students who have relevance to the field of electrical engineering, it was found that 38.1% of respondents had not mastered the competence of electrical measuring and measuring instruments and 51.3% of respondents had not mastered the competence of basic electrical theory. So it is necessary to develop electrical circuit training by referring to the achievement of competence in SKKNI. Training is designed with the Self Direct Learning model so that the role of the instructor will be replaced by a video learning module. The methods used in this study are interviews, literature studies, documentation and questionnaire dissemination. This study adopted the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model contains a systematic procedure and consists of 5 main stages, namely (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The products resulting from this research are training with media Trainer Kits and electrical circuit video modules. The feasibility level assessment used 9 media evaluators and learning materials, as well as for trials using SMKN 1 Kramatwatu students and students who have relevance to the field of electrical engineering with a total of 16 people. The analytical techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of the study show that the feasibility level of electrical circuit training design refers to the feasibility of the Trainer Kit media, the feasibility of learning video media and the feasibility of training material content. The results of the evaluation of the electrical circuit Trainer Kit media are in the "Very Decent" category with a score range of x ≥ 51, the results of the evaluation of learning video media show that the video media is in the "Very Decent" category with a score range of x ≥ 35.8 and the results of the evaluation of learning materials show that the material content is in the "Very Decent" category with a score range of x ≥ 49. So that media and materials can be used in the electrical circuit training process. Furthermore, respondents' assessment of the training process was in the "Very Feasible" category with a score range of x ≥ 48, while the percentage of trainee respondents' answers, namely 54% answered "Very Decent" and 46% answered "Decent". Thus, the training design is feasible to use.

Pelatihan dirancang dengan model Self Direct Learning sehingga peran instruktur akan digantikan oleh modul video pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penenilitian ini adalah wawancara, studi pustaka, dokumentasi dan penyebaran angket. Penelitian ini mengadopsi model ADDIE. Model ADDIE memuat prosedur yang sistematis dan terdiri dari 5 tahapan utama yaitu (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah pelatihan dengan media Trainer Kit dan modul video rangkaian listrik. Penilaian tingkat kelayakan menggunakan 9 evaluator media dan materi pembelajaran, serta untuk uji coba menggunakan siswa SMKN 1 Kramatwatu dan mahasiswa yang memiliki relevansi dengan bidang teknik ketenagalistrikan dengan jumlah 16 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kelayakan desain pelatihan rangkaian listrik merujuk pada kelayakan media Trainer Kit, kelayakan media video pembelajaran dan kelayakan konten materi pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi media Trainer Kit rangkaian listrik berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 51, hasil evaluasi media video pembelajaran menunjukan bahwa media video berada dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 35,8 dan hasil evaluasi materi pembelajaran menunjukan bahwa konten materi berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 49. Sehingga media dan materi dapat digunakan dalam proses pelatihan rangkaian listrik. Selanjutnya penilaian responden terhadap proses pelatihan berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 48, adapun presentase jawaban responden peserta pelatihan yaitu 54% menjawab “Sangat Layak” dan 46% menjawab “Layak”. Dengan demikian, desain pelatihan layak untuk digunakan.
