Abstract
Internet game addiction has a relationship with trash talking behavior. There is an impact of games positively or negatively such as addictive effects for fans. The variety that exists in the game makes a strong attraction to continue playing and student learning outcomes that go down are unfortunate because of the impact of online game addiction. This study was conducted with a sample size of 45 students and used correlational research methods. The results of this study indicate that 84% of students in class X TKJ 1 are addicted to online games and 73% do trashtalking behavior. The correlation test results obtained an R value of 0.454 which means that there is a relationship between online game addiction and trash talking behavior. There is a contribution of online game addiction to trash talking behavior of 0.560 which means that online game addiction affects 56% of trash talking behavior, the other 44% is influenced by other factors outside the variables of this study.

Additional Information: | Kacanduan game internet memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku trash talking. Adanya dampak dari game secara positif atau pun negative seperti efek adiktif bagi para penggemar. Variasi yang ada dalam permainan membuat daya tarik yang kuat untuk terus bermain serta hasil belajar siswa yang turun menjadi hal yang disayangkan karena dampak dari kecanduan Game online. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 45 siswa dan menggunakan metode penelitian korelasional. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 84% siswa kelas X TKJ 1 kecanduan terhadap game online dan 73% melakukan perilaku trashtalking. Hasil uji korelasi didapat nilai R sebesar 0,454 yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan perilaku trash talking. Terdapat kontribusi kecanduan game online terhadap perilaku trash talking sebesar 0,560 yang artinya kecanduan game online mmempengaruh 56% peirlaku trash talking, 44% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel penelitian ini. | |||||||||
