Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze and prove how the mediating role of Work Motivation on the relationship between Job Training and Employee Performance is influenced by the study of Work Discipline in employees of the production department of PT. Primaplast Indonesia. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. This study uses data collection methods based on interviews, literature studies and questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees of the production department of PT. Primaplast Indonesia has 76 employees. The sample for this study used the entire population in the study using the Non-Probability Sampling technique in the form of saturated sampling (census). The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS 3.0 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Job Training has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (2) Job Training has a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation, (3) Work Discipline has a negative and insignificant effect on Work Motivation, (4) Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and (5) Work Motivation is able to mediate the effect of Job Training on Employee Performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis serta membuktikan bagaimana peran mediasi Motivasi Kerja terhadap hubungan Pelatihan Kerja dengan Kinerja Karyawan yang dipengaruhi oleh Disiplin Kerja studi pada karyawan departemen produksi PT. Primaplast Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berdasarkan wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan departemen produksi PT. Primaplast Indonesia sebanyak 76 orang karyawan. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik sampel Non-Probability Sampling berupa sampling jenuh (sensus). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan alat analisis Smart PLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, (2) Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi Kerja, (3) Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Motivasi Kerja, (4) Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dan (5) Motivasi Kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh Pelatihan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.
