Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is any effect of applying the Mind Mapping method to students' creative thinking abilities in social studies class IV SD Negeri Rancailat 1, Tangerang Regency. The research method used was quasi-experimental, with the research design used in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample studied at SDN Rancailat 1 Tangerang Regency was students in class IVA as an experimental class totaling 25 students using the Mind Mapping method and class IVB as a control class totaling 25 students using the Conventional model. The analysis technique in this study is the T-test. Based on the results of the T-test calculation, T Hitung is 4.5814 and the T Tabel is 2.01063. Thus fulfilling the test criteria T Hitung > T Tabel Then Ha is accepted Ho is rejected at a significant level of 5%. So it can be said that the Mind Mapping Method on Students' Creative Thinking Ability in IPS Subjects, in the material (1) production, distribution and consumption economic activities (2) types of work related to the lifestyle of the surrounding community (3) types of work produce goods and services.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh penerapan metode Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran IPS Kelas IV SD Negeri Rancailat 1 Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi Eksperimen, dengan Desain penelitian yang digunakan berbentuk Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Sampel yang diteliti di SDN Rancailat 1 Kabupaten Tangerang adalah peserta didik kelas IVA sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 25 peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode Mind Mapping dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 25 peserta didik dengan menggunakan model Konvensional. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini adalah Uji-T. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-T diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,5814 dan ttabel 2,01063. Dengan demikian memenuhi kriteria pengujian thitung > ttabel Maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak pada taraf Signifikan 5% . Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa Metode Mind Mapping Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS, pada materi (1) kegiatan ekonomi produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi (2) jenis-jenis pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan corak kehidupan masyarakat sekitar (3) jenis-jenis pekerjaan menghasilkan barang dan jasa. | |||||||||
